Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd is a business in the manufacturing and retail industries that manufactures and supplies world-class hand-embroidered textiles/functional art. 

 

2. Delivery Policy 

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within 10 working days.

  • Free Shipping: Orders above $350, or any orders delivered within South Africa, qualify for free delivery.

  • Shipping Costs: Orders below $350 will incur shipping costs, automatically calculated at checkout and added to your order total.

  • Courier Service: Local deliveries within South Africa are generally shipped via The Courier Guy, and international deliveries are shipped via DHL Express. Other courier arrangements may be made at Kaross’ discretion.

  • Delivery Times: Local delivery times depend on your location. International delivery times can vary due to factors such as destination, customs clearance, and shipping schedules.

  • Urgent Orders: If you require urgent shipping, please contact info@kaross.co.za prior to placing your order. Additional fees may apply.

 

3. International Duties & Taxes

Orders shipped outside of South Africa may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees imposed by the destination country.

  • These charges are determined by local customs authorities and are beyond Kaross’ control.

  • Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost at checkout.

  • In some cases, duties and taxes may be significant depending on the destination country’s import regulations. We recommend checking your local customs regulations before placing an order. A helpful starting point for estimating fees is the destination country’s official customs website.

  • Kaross is not responsible for delays, non-delivery, returns, or abandoned shipments resulting from unpaid customs charges. If an order is held by customs or returned due to unpaid duties or taxes, Kaross cannot issue a refund or reship the order.

 

4. Export Restrictions 

The offering on this website is available to clients worldwide as DHL is available in over 220 countries. The offering on this website is however dependant on the export restrictions of DHL Express. 

 

5. Return and Refunds Policy

The provision of goods and services by Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Karosswerkers will refund the client in full within 30 days, or otherwise replace the previously selected item with a suitable replacement. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 0% administration fee, provided that the item has not yet been shipped. 

 

6. Customer Privacy Policy 

Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd shall take all responsible steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). 7. Payment Options Accepted

Payment may be made via Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, Diners, or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.

 

8. Card Acquiring and Security

Card transactions will be acquired for Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

 

9. Customer Details Separate from Card Details

Customer details will be stored by Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

 

10. Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. However, Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd processes all orders in USDPrices in our store can be viewed in any one of several currencies; you will check out using USD at the most current exchange rate. 

 

11. Responsibility

Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction, including the sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution, and delivery of goods through relevant courier services.

 

12. Country of Domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature (513 La Gratitude Farm, Letsitele, Limpopo, 0885).

 

13. Variation

Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
