- Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 10 working days. Delivery is free for orders above $350 and for all orders delivered in South Africa. Shipping costs for orders below $350 will be for the client’s account. We use an international courier service, DHL Express, for all orders, for South African and international shipments. You will be provided with a tracking number after the order leave our studio, this can be used for live tracking of your parcel.
When you place an order in our store, the shipping costs will be calculated automatically (provided free shipping does not apply) and will be added to the cost of the order, before you proceed to payment.
We will endeavour to ship your order as soon as possible after payment has been received, but note that delivery times may vary depending on the destination and customs clearance.
If urgent shipping is required you must contact Kaross at info@kaross.co.za, prior to making the purchase.
Please note that any shipment to a destination outside of South Africa may incur tax and/or customs duty in the destination country. These are determined by the destination country and cannot be determined upfront. Whilst we do our best, within the allowances of current trade policies, to mitigate any duties payable by our clients, Kaross accepts no liability for any taxes or customs duties that may be payable.
Kaross also does not accept liability for any returns, or failure by the intended recipient to collect the order, or failure by the shipper to deliver the order, because of any unpaid taxes or customs duties. We will not refund you for any purchases not collected or delivered in such instances.
- Export restrictions
The offering on this website is available to clients worldwide as DHL is available in over 220 countries. The offering on this website is however dependant on the export restrictions of DHL Express.
- Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Karosswerkers will refund the client in full within 30 days, or otherwise replace the previously selected item with a suitable replacement. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 0% administration fee, provided that the item has not yet been shipped.
- Customer Privacy policy
Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd shall take all responsible steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). - Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, Diners, or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
- Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
- Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
- Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. However, Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd process all orders in USD. Priced in our store can be viewed in any one of a number of currencies, however you will checkout using USD at the most current exchange rate.
- Responsibility
Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution, and delivery of goods through relevant courier services.
- Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature (513 La Gratitude Farm, Letsitele, Limpopo, 0885).
- Variation
Karosswerkers (Pty) Ltd may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
